Nasario Marroquin Salazar (1874-1960)

Does that name ring a bell for anybody on this board? He's my wife's great-grandfather and I have some history about him and his descendants. But getting info out of Mexico has proven to be difficult.

I do know he was born somewhere in Nuevo Leon, Mexico about 1874 and than after spending most of his life in South and Central Texas, he returned home late in life and died near Monterrey, Mexico about 1960.

He married Tomasa F. Flores in La Paz (El Borrego - near Monterrey, Mexico) and had four known children:

Dominga - Born May 12, 1914 (my wife's grandmother)
Ventura - Born about 1916
Antonio - Born about 1917
Adela - Unknown

If you have any information that could augment mine, I'd love to hear from you.

Obviously, there are a lot of Salazars in Texas amd Northern Mexico. Wouldn't it be great if we could pool this information together on here and start connecting everyone?
