I am new at this but my husband is the great-grandson of Abenicio Salazar. In Bernalillo, New Mexico there is a place called El Zocalo and the building was named after him. There is a church there and I was told there is a dedication to him for his work helping to build the town after a flood or fire. I have no other information but there are websites with his name on the building but I am just starting my search. If you happen to come across any information, it would be much appreciated. Good luck with your reunion!

Thank you.
