The Salazars I am descended from originated in Sonsonate, El Salvador with Carlos Ayllon Salazar who emigrated from Peru and whose family was from Spain. He married Maria Trinidad Oyarzun in 1864. This line of Salazars are now mostly, and have been for some time, in San Salvador.
