Hi,
I just discover this site and I'm happy to see how many Salazar are spread all over the world.

As far I can understand Italy is underrepresented in this forum and I believe to be the only Italian Salazar entering into it.

I'm from Naples, city in which also exists a "piazza" entitled to my family, and I'm the only survivor from the "neapolitan" line of the family. Another line exists in Reggio di Calabria.

Last year I was in Spain looking for my (our...?!?) origins and I found the original Castle near Bilbao. From there my ancients moved to Naples during the Spanish occupation in the Kingdom of Naples. Many informations on Lope Garcia de Salazar are also provided in the Basque Enciclopedy.

I will be happy to contribute to the research of Tristan and I'm ready to communicate with any Salazar interested in the "Italian connection"...
