First of all, it's a great feeling to know that there are so many people from my home town of El Cercado and surrounding areas, such as Allende, Villa De Santiago, Los Cavazos, El Alamo, Montemorelos and so on.
The reason I'm responding to your post is that recently I thought I made a connection to Pedro Salazar of Monterrey which appears to be the first Salazar of Nuevo Leon. My paternal g-grandfather was Simon Cavazos Salazar, his parents were Jose Ma. Cavazos and Maria Del Refugio Salazar Tames. As you can see, our anscestor, Maria Del Refugio Salazar Tames share the same name....so I followed the Salazar branch through Agustin Maria, Jose Isidro, Jose Valentin and so on until I reach Pedro Salazar.
However, I recently received a copy of a marriage certificate of Jose Maria Cavazos and Ma. De. Ref. Salazar that revealed that the parents of Ma. del Ref. were Froylan Salazar and Ma. Ramona Tames. So I learned my lesson and will more careful as I spent quite some time in my research.
However, I did find that a daughter (Maria Quiteria Salazar)of Jose Isidro Salazar was the grandmother of Jose Maria Cavazos, my gg-grandfather which I thought was married to your Ma. Del Ref. Salazar. Well, I hope I haven't confused you to much.
Do have any info on Froylan Salazar or Ma. Ramona Tames in your Salazar or Tamez data base that you're willing to share.
Also, I have many Almaguer and Cavazos relatives that live in Allende, El Cercado and Villa de Santiago.
