Hi, this is Naomi Maldonado, and I have hit a wall with this research on my family. Thanks to the help of some of you out there, I now know the name of my great-great grandfather. His name was Juan Marroquin Salazar, and his wife was Maria de Jesus Marroquin. THey were married in Allende, Nuevo LEon MEx. I haven't been able to find anything further back. My grandfather, Irenio Salazar used to say that his father told him that they came up to Nuevo Leon from Cuidad del Maiz, Mexico which is near Vera Cruz. I haven't been able to confirm this, however I hope it sounds familiar to someone out there. I hope to hear from the decendents of my great-grandfather's siblings. Their names are: Estevan,Pablo, Sixto, Antonio, Lucia, Lupita, Petrita, and Melquiades. Some of these siblings as well as my great-grandfather were baptized in ALlende, Nuevo LEon, Mex. Thanks for listening.
