I have a picture of the Salazar Emblem and yes we are from the North of Spain where the first Salazar was registed. Does not mean we originated from there (Bilboa). The word "Sa" has a meaning of "house" or "vally" or "place" and "lazar" has another meaning that I will give you the chance to look it up yourself. I can email the emblem and by the way there are stars 13 or 14 of them don't quite remember but they are stars round with spikes as if they are glowing and gold at that; with a shield and royal blue in the background.
