Salazars In Colorado and New Mexico
Posted by: Alan Salazar Date: January 04, 1998 at 13:15:24

Many Salazars in Colorado and New Mexico can trace their family roots to the San Luis Valley and the early history of Santa Fe. One of our family members, Ken Salazar, is running for Attorney General in Colorado. His family goes back 13 generations, and can be traced to a 16th century conquistador who founded Spanish settlements in New Mexico. I am a generation removed from this same family.
