Hello Alejandro-
You know a bit more about the Salazar family than I do. I find the information about the Salazar-founded town in Mexico very interesting. My Grandparents have lived in Eagle Lake, Texas (very close to Houston) for all their lives, I believe. I have no information about where that branch of the Salazar family came from before that.

I am also looking for a graphic of the family crest. I am hearing different stories about it. My father at one time told me that the shield is divided in half vertically. One half(the left?) has 13 stars, and the other half has a castle. I don't remember if he told me any colors, and I don't know where he got his information. Have you discovered anything yet? Maybe there were several versions.

Cheers!
Kelly
