Hi Steve,
My family (Salazar) is also from Ecuador (Quito, Manta and Guayaquil). I live in California and I read the message you posted. Do you have any relatives in Ecuador or in the U.S. with last names Salazar Borja (that's my grandfather's last name, was born 1906)? Do you know of any Salazar Borja in your family/genealogy. I began working on expanding my own genealogy on my paternal/grandfather's side of the family; all I know is that my grandfather had a brother with last names (paternal and maternal surnames respectively) Salazar Borja.
Thanks for your time,
Jim Salazar
