The 1st Salrin who came in USA

I would like to know
1) who was the first Salrin arrived from France?
2) Did come from Lorraine?
3) Salrin is it an abbreviation of Sallerin?

I am born in France and emigrated to Canada almost 50 years ago. My father's family originated from Lorraine, near the city of Metz.

I was very curious to know more about Salrin-Sallerin families.

Thank you very much.

Parlez-vous franšais?
