Marie-Louise, If you will send me your e-mail address I can share additional informantion on the Salrin family in the U.S. I am in contact with another decendant who grew up in Coshocton, Ohio and she has interesting information that identifies that Andrew Salrin was born in Metz, france May 10, 1848. Parents were Andrew and Barbara (Mitchel) Salrin. they emigrated in 1853. There were two sisters Victorine Davied and Mary Sherret.

We may have a connection for you. Do you have a contact in Metz?
