Hi Lisa, through this fourm a number of us interested in the Salrin history have been able to put together a detailed family tree going back to the early 1600's. Victorine was actually Madelaine-Victorine born Sept. 6, 1835 in Vittoncourt France. Daughter of Andre' Salrin b. Oct. 17, 1808 married to Barbe Michel b. April 19, 1811 both born in Vittoncourt. Victorine married Joseph David b. Greenbush, Kansas. Andre' was the brother of my wife's GGrandfather Nicholas Salrin. their Father was also a Nicholas, their mother was Francoise Noel.

We have much more data. I will pass your message along to some of the others I am working with, we would love to have your information on the Davied line. Carol VanAuken is collecting this information.

We will be in touch.
