My grandfather's name was Douglas Burrus born to Hosley and Bessie Toliver Burrus of Todd County, Kentucky on June 4 1922. He was a member of Bell Chapel C.M.E. Church. He married my grandmother Amy Samuels on Oct 4, 1942 in Christian County, Kentucky who later moved to Indianapolis, IN. This line of Burrus's are of African American decent. My grandfathers sisters are Mildred McCoy of Indianapolis adn Cora Lee Earthman of Pembroke Kentucky who are both I believe, still alive.
