I'm looking up the Samuels faily history & gilbert Samuels is some what hard to get any more information on. I know that he servd in the revolutionary War from April 1783 (9th Pennsylvania Regimnt under Commander John Pearsin's Co. Seven Moths Men) to Oct. 2-19,1786 1st Co. 4th Battalion Dauphin County Militia under Col. Robert Clark & Capt. James Wilson. He was a Private in the war. He had 4 cildren James, Mary, James, David L. & Gilbert. If you want to know more just E-mai me. The Samuels last name is still going strong even to date.

Lori
