Different researches have listed my ancestors as mulotto or black. My research ends at James Alfred Samuels I (b: apx 1855, Virginia), married a Margaret Young (Tennessee), living in Cincinnati in the 1890's. He had a son, James Alfred Samuels II, born 1898 and a half sister, Sadie born 1892. Hope this helps both you and I.
