Meshack is the son of Joseph Wm Hope Samuels a Methodist minister of Page County, Va. There is a Samuels cemetery marked on the geodetic survey along Naked Creek in Page. Meshack married second wife Lucretia Taylor of Orange, dgtr of Zachariah Taylor on 12-23-1825. Meshack had a son William by a first marriage in Page, my gr-grandfather Joseph Wm Taylor Samuels (12-11-1826) and third son Meshack with wife Lucretia in Orange Co. Meshack had children including Cicero and Pannie (?). I have more but can't find it now. Will post later. All are descended from Welsh Quakers arriving in Pa 1682 with William Penn.
