I have researched a Jane Samuels as one of my ancestors. She married Henry Martin about 1704. Her parents were James Samuels and Sarah Boulware. I have not been able to locate names of parents of James Samuels, but I believe Sarah's parents were Marjory Gray (or Grey) and James Boulware. James was born about 1640 in London and died about 1713 in Essex VA. His parents were Thomas Boulware (b. abt 1620 in England;d.abt 1679 in VA) and Tabitha Edlow (b. abt 1620 in England; d. date unk). Marjory was born about 1648 in VA. I believe her parents were William Butler Gray (or Grey) and Elizabeth Ingram. He was born about 1616 in England; d. about 1673 in VA. No info on Elizabeth. I have found info that shows William Butler Gray was the son of Thomas Grey and Margaret Annis of England. If this is true, his ancestors can be traced back to the first century. I am still trying to confirm the names of his parents.
