I am seeking information on the family of William Samuels (born 1806? in S. Carolina) & married to Suzana (maiden name unknown) (born 1810? in Tennessee). They are listed in the 1850 Alabama census of Blount County. I think that William died 6 May 1857. Their seventh child was named Martha, who married John W. Durham of Etowah Co., Alabama. William's father may have been Elisha Samuels, age 70; born in S. Carolina & also listed on the 1850 Census as living with William & family. I would appreciate any assistance which you might be able to supply.
