Kaylena,
Sort of off-topic here but I was wondering how I could get one of those Halbert's family history books these days.
Back in the "90's I bought one from them, and it turned out to be the starting point for my genealogical hobby. There's great statistical information in "The New World Book of Rochel's" by Halbert's, which I already have. I'm now trying to figure out if I can get one for my family name "Parisi", but I can't find out where to buy it. Do they have a phone # I could call? I know that they had a lot of trouble because some people mistakenly beleived that the "name books" were buying thier "personal family history" when buying the books. These are the same type of people who think that somewhere they can but a brand new car for only $1.
Personally I find these books very informative, with great statistical info that someone could actually use. Unfortunately, at the time I only had the money for one book, so I bought it for my husband. Now I need one for me.
I'm hoping that either I can buy one new, or maybe someone has a used one for sale. the name I need is "Parisi".
I appreciate any help I can find on this "Halbert's" book.
Thank you,
Cindy
