Hi Dianne
My 4x great-grandfather was Samuel Sandercock, who died at Landue Bridge near Lezant on 27 January 1868 aged 88. His wife was Mary Ann, nee Weeks. Samuel's son John living at Trekenner Head in the parish was the registrant of his
father's death.
Samuel was baptised 13 May 1781 I think at Egloskerry, son of Samuel Sandercock and Mary Goodman. He lived most of his life in Lezant parish.
I am a descendant of Samuel II and Mary Ann Weeks' first son Richard (born at St Germans in 1811) who came to South Australia in 1853 with his wife Elizabeth, nee Stanbury and their children. I have written a book about the Sandercock history.
Perhaps we are related.
Neil Thomas
