Robert Sanderlin USN Casualty of WWII
Posted by: Patrick Sanderlin Date: June 28, 2001 at 20:49:52

I found the name of Robert Sanderlin, USN, died on/about Dec. 1945 and is listed as missing or buried at sea on the Manila 'Missing Tablets.' This would tell me that he was a prisoner of war, but why would his death be listed as Dec. 1945, months after the war's end. He is listed as having entered the Navy from California.
