I have a Bond deed :
Wilson Sanderlin/Sanderling Bond to Thomas C.Casey. Drawn up 1821, recorded May Term of 1825:
The last name is spelled SANDERLING in the heading but Sanderlin through the text.
Know all me by these presents that I Wilson Sanderling of Camden Co. NC am held and firmly bound unto Thomas C. Casey of Currituck County and State aforemention, in the __sum of five hundred dollars the which payment will and truly to be made I bind myself my heirs Executors administrators and assigns jointly firmly and severally by these presents, unto him the said Thomas C. Casey his heirs and assigns as witness my hand and seal this 14 day of May 1821.
The condition of the above obligation that whareas I the above Thos. C. Casey have this day given the said Wilson Sadlerin a Title to a certain tract of land laying in Tennessee in the Co. of Montgomery which was guarded by the State of NC for the services of Capt. Wm. Goodman dec'd now if the said Wilson Saderlin shall sue for and recover the said land or obtain it in any part thereof the said Wilson Sanderling is to make as good a title to said Casey on half of said land or whatever part maybe recovered or to pay said Casey on half of the money arising from the sales therof should he sell it for money now if the said Wilson Saderling does make as good a title to said Casey to one half of the land as he is invested with in the deed when recovered or pays him one half the money arising from the sale of said land then this obligaton to be voide and of no effect or otherwise to remain in full force and virtue signed sealed and delivered in the presents of Josiah Tolliff, Joseph Spence

St. of NC May Term 1825; from Wilson Sanderlin to Thomas C. Casey was proved in open court by the oath of Josiah Tolliff due form of law and ordered to be registereed. L. Hall Clk. for James E. Hall. Reg. Aug. 24, 1825
I have a deed dated July 1818 where Thomas Crafts Casey purchases from the heir of Capt. Wm. Goodman, land called Blooming Grove TN.
Hope this information helps someone. If anyone has deed refs. to this land mentioned in Montgomery Co. or any connection of the Sanderlin family to the Casey family of Camden/Currituck or Pasquotank Cos. I would appreciate the data.
