I am looking for a Clarinda Sanderlin, my greatgrandmother. She was born Nov. 26, 1859 and died Feb. 8, 1933. I do not know where she was born. She married John J. Grogan, born June 13, 1857, died Aug 6, 1918. They are both buried at Russell Hill Cemetery in Gordon County,(Calhoun-Sugar Valley)Georgia. They also lived in Dawson County(Dahlonega) Georgia near Amicalola Fall, and Lindale, Ga. near Rome, Ga. All towns are in the northwest part of Georgia. My grandfather's name was Henry Wilson Grogan and he married Maud Chambers from Cuming Ga. Her parents were Jasper and Elizabeth Wilson(she was born in North Carolina)Chambers. I don't know if this is a lead, but I will look for your relatives the same time I research mine. I have had success with the Grogan family, and I can trace them back to the 1700's when they imm. from Ireland.
