Hi Carol,
I am Edmond D. Sanderlin's great-grandson. Edmond died in 1905 at Friendship, LA. Married Mary Land in Ft. Gaines, GA in 1864. He was in 51st Ga. Inf. during Civil War, wounded in hand in Sept. 1862, and was sent back to Georgia. Moved to LA sometime after war.
Griffith had two wives !. Susana Sawyer, d.1825, 2. Alipha Seymore. Edmond was son of Susana.
Griffith died probably in GA, and may be buried in Macon, GA. I am presently trying to locate his grave.

I have more info if you are interested, including an old photo of Edmond, which I could scan and send.
