I am looking for information regarding the family of Romulus Sanders.

In 1854 he married Jane (Sarah Jane) Huggens/Hudgens in Hempstead Co. AR. On the 1860 census for Sevier Co., AR, he states that he was born in TN, and was 29 years old (1831). He enlisted in the Second Arkansas Mounted Rifles in 1861, and died in TN, 1862.

I'd like to find out who his parents and siblings were, but just as importantly, I need to know where he was in 1850. I cannot locate him on the census for that year.
