I am searching for a Peter Sanders born around 1800 in North Carolina. He was married to Elizabeth (unknown). He moved to Pulaski, Virginia where he had James A Sanders born around 1838. James married Martha Monroe on 13 Mar 1865. (Daughter of Elisha Monroe and Kitty unknown.)
Their daughter, Blanche Walton Sanders, born 02 Jun 1865, later married Isaac M. Dyer. Their daughter, Blanche Walton Dyer, born 05 Nov 1925 was my mother-in-law.
I Am trying to find any ancestors and discover where the "Walton" name came from. One possibility is that Elizabeth or Kitty were Waltons, but I have not been able to find any records to support this. Any info would be appreciated.
