Miranda Sanders, Tuscaloosa, AL

I am reposting a query about my GGM,Miranda Sanders, born between 1884-1886m in Tuscaloosa, AL.

Miranda was married to Shed Sanders in 1876 and had a daughter, Anna, my GM, in 1878. Miranda was divorced from Shed around 1878-79. Anna was not said to be Shed's daughter.

On the 1880 census, Miranda, age 24 was listed as divorced and was enumerated with Shadrick Scales and family, Anna was age 6 on this census record.

I have found 2 Miranda's on the 1870 census in Tuscaloosa, a Miranda Murrast, and a Miranda Powell, both which would be the right approximate age.

I have found references of Miranda being born in Alabama, and in North Carolina. On her death certificate in 1932 in Tuscaloosa, AL, her parents are listed as George Williams and Ann Roberson, both of North Carolina. This is the first instance of seeing her parents and I'm not sure if this is accurate.

I would appreciate ANY information regarding Miranda, or her daughter Anna, had the follwing children, Mose, Nannie, Miranda, Susie and twin boys James and George all with the surname of Dodson.

Thanks and look forward to any input.

Trisha
