Jesse Sanders, Brittain Sanders, Oglethorpe Co., GA circa 1800

A Jesse Sanders appeared in the Oglethorpe Co., GA records in the late 1700s and early 1800s. He surveyed a fairly large tract that was originally in Washington Co., then in Greene, then in Oglethorpe. He may have had a relative named Brittain Sanders who was also mentioned on the Oglethorpe tax lists. Does anyone know (1) where he lived prior to Georgia and (2) what his connection was, if any, to a Martin family?

Thanks for any help.
