Thanks for the information. How did you get it? Unfortunately I am unsure of the Slovakian part. My great aunt doesn't remember her grampa Matt, but is sure of the fact that he was German and spoke German. I will be looking into getting his death certificate. I am especially interested in the Jane reference. My aunt believed he remarried and didn't know the woman's name, but that the family moved to Pennsylvania and not to Roosevelt, Montana, which is interesting. How do I go about finding naturalization papers? If he was Czech his father changed his name, I guess I have a new problem, LOL. Thanks for your help.
