We have a couple genealogists in our group that know a lot more than I.

I doubt if Nancy Sanders Mauldin ever existed. She is likely someone's genealogy guess that turned into genealogy fiction. I believe that my Richard Mauldin most likely spent his early teen and later years with Moses Sanders after his father died... which could explain why the Sanders family referred to him as "Uncle Richard".
