Hi Jean

Thank you for the information on Stephen Sandridge. I have not been able to find a link between my Thurman line and the Thurman/Sandridge line but alot of clues have been leading me there. Just not sure. So, I am researching the allied lines of those Thurmans that may connect to me to get the bigger picture. My block wall is 1796 at Berry Thurman b. in VA. What is making things so difficult is that it appears he has Albemarle Co connections as well as Hanover Co VA connections. Thurmans were from both counties that moved to Cumberland Co KY and elsewhere. I am particularly interested in the children of Wm and Susannah Sandridge Thurman - noone seems to know much about them - John and Wm Thurman that were listed in the Hall vs. Sandridge case in Green Co KY. But I believe that the WM and John Thurmond in Franklin Co TN are either them or connected to them.

Jean, do you know if anyone has ever checked the deeds books in Franklin Co TN for the Sandridge connections? I'm wondering if there were any Thurmans/monds listed in any of the deeds.

Thanks

Deborah Thurman Parks
