Nathan Sandridge died in 1844 in Franklin COunty Tennessee. Records there list most of these children to be his and even states the counties in Mississippi they were living in at the time. Lane Genealogy states that
Mary Polly Lane was the first wife of Nathan
Sandridge......
I have that Mary Polly Lane was the dau
of Henry Littleberry Lane and Mary Jane Sandidge...It might be of interest that Mary
Jane's sister, Nancy Jo Ann m Gideon Carr..
(Note one of Polly Lane Sandridge's son was Thornton Gideon Sandridge..One of Nathan's children --Sarah Sandridge m William Farris in Franklin Co. Tn....and note earlier
Betsy Lane sis to Polly m a William Farris&
another sister Nancy Lane m Hezekiah Farris
Some of the Farris's also went to Franklin Co....and also Lanes...Good luck
