Hi do you have any info on Capt Job MARTIN who fought in the Rev War? I think he was related to Obediah MARTIN
There was a Job MARTIN Sr so I assume there was a Job JR
Job Sr was in STOKES/SURRY in 1790 and 1800
I am researching parents of Samuel Huston MARTIN b. TN 1812-1818 m. Rebecca Bryant b. TN in 1839 in White Co TN.
Samuel bought land in White Co in 1841 and Job MARTIN was a witness.
According to Census Samuel's mother was born in TN and father in NC. Mother may have been born in part of NC that became TN,
Any help would be appreciated.
Parents of Rebecca Bryant were James and Jane GENTRY BRYANT
Thank you
Peggy Gunter
