Hector, el apellido Santillan no tiene nada que ver con el apellido Santillana, lo unico que tienen en común es su origen, que no es Soria, sino Cantabria al Norte de España, capital Santander. En cuanto al lo que tu llamas "el mar de Santillana", no es asi es "Santillana del Mar" y es una poblacion que es toda un museo Medieval, vamos que se conserva tal cual, cuando llegas a ella te transportas a la edad media.
