Dear Linda: Thanks for answering. I live in North Georgia and know that there are quite a few Santillans in the Atlanta area. They are related to my family line because they come from San Luis Potosi in Mexico. I suppose the Santillans arrived in the Philipines with the Spanish explorers just like they arrived in Mexico. I have found a "Francisco Santillan" that came to the New World with the expedition of Juan de Onate. He was a blacksmith and an officer in the expedition. He was wounded by an arrow & sent back to what is now Mexico City to recuperate. I am interested in any Santillans that still live in the Philipines. My nephew was stationed over there but he did not think they were related to him.
