Hi Martin,
I have sent several e-mails but not sure they have reached you. There is a full dissertaion that has been written on Edward Salomons full of much history and the name change. Also Bill William's book "Jews Making of Manchester" is housed in the Manchester Jewish Museum and is full of stories of the Salomons Family. Mr. Williams is in the process of doing a new edition of this book. I would love to talk or correspond with you as there are so many Salomons(15 children of Priscilla and Henry Moses?????)and we are directly related as Frederick(my great grandfather) was Edward's brother and Gerald's that right?? I do know that Frederick Phillip Salomons married Hannah levy in New York and then changed their name to Sanville. Hope to hear from you. Priscilla (Prilly) Sanville
