I want to correct July 7th, 1998 Post. My father was born in September 18, 1889. He was a musician, and was clarinet soloist for the KDKA Little Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Victor Saudek, and the Westinghouse Electric Band under the direction of Tom Vastine. KDKA was the Pioneer Radio Station of the World. It was the first licensed commercial radio station, and my father played the first clarinet solo "Annie Laurie" on that station. The studio was located on the roof of Westinghouse Electric "K" Building. The band and orchestra played every evening on KDKA from 1920 till 1928.
