have just found a reference to Sardís Rent on

On doing google search on Sam Austin Sard, your email address came up. I hope it is an active email address but if it bounces back, well!!

I am interested in the mention of Samuel Stevens Sard son of Sam Austin Sard.

My grandmother (Gladys Mary Mooney 1890-1974) was daughter of Alfred Floyd Brown (Born London 1864 died Newcastle NSW in 1901). His mother was Cecilia Sard (as per his marriage & death certificates) who was born in 1843 in Southwark London. I have traced, through records at local Church of Latter Day Saints repository at Wollstonecraft NSW, her parentage as Samuel Stevens Sard b 1819 and Elizabeth. She had according to records I found siblings Emily b 1837, Cyrus b 1839, and Arthur b 1841. There may be further siblings but I was more interested in direct line. Samuel S Sardís parents were Sam Austin Sard and Sarah.

Their family consisted of
Samuel Stevens - b 1819 Bermondsey London
George James Ė b 1822 Bermondsey
Catherine Ė b 1824 Bermondsey
Sarah Phillis b 1825
Richard William b. 3 Oct 1827 Bermondsey
Mary Sard b 1829 Bermondsey

My name is Cate Gow b 1952, daughter of Sylvester Timbs 1919-1992 and Josephine Mooney b 1920 I would be pleased to see if you can help me. My grandmother knew very little of her parents, who died when she was a very young child and she and her sister were raised by maternal great aunt and uncle. Therefore my motherís knowledge bank is very scanty.

I wish to advise that my email address will be changing in next few weeks to
