SARTHOU of BEARN
Posted by: Jean-Marc SARTHOU (ID *****0026) Date: May 01, 2002 at 22:08:08

Hello with all, I am a SARTHOU of France in Europe. This name is a word of the old language "Béarnais" dérivé of the SARTHOU=TAYLOR(Inglish)=SASTRE(spanish)TAILLEUR(Français). The "BEARN" was in the Middle Ages a state independent of the south of France, with its language, its prince, his laws. If you have a map of France, this small country is at the border of Spain, its current capital is PAU, the other cities principal are OLORON, ORTHEZ. So long for a new history Jean-Marc SARTHOU
