hi. i have a sasser-boyd puzzle and was wondering if you might have some info. i have john sasser, b ca 1806 anson co, nc, married to nancy boyd, b ca 1805 nc and died 1868 webster co, ga. nancy supposedly was the daughter of john boyd, b ca 1790 nc. john sasser was the son of richard, b ca 1771 anson co and elizabeth barber, b ca 1777 in new bern co, nc.

john and nancy sasser's daughter, ellen, b 4-5-1833 nc, was my gg-grandmother.

i cannot, however, find anything on the boyds and was hoping you might help. i understand how census recorders listed names, so i assume my boyds could be boyetts, boyts, etc.

thanks. rodney bowers
