Adam Sattazahn (or John Adam, or Jacob Adam), the progenitor of this line, and apparently the earliest documented Sattazahn in PA, was born approx. 1735. Yet 1750 tax records in Bethel Twp. show an "Adam Satisanne" owned 150 acres of land. Probably not "our" Adam, at age 15, unless his father died and left it to him. Has anyone found an EARLIER Sattazahn, i.e., "our" Adam's father?
