Saucedo name origin
Posted by: Daniel Saucedo (ID *****5800) Date: August 12, 2004 at 20:44:53

Just started researching, tho limited, the origin of my surname Saucedo. I realize it is Spanish, to some extent, but did it originate in Spain? Italy? Or is it meztizo? My mother's surname was Segura, and I traced it back to Spain, actually, it is Basque. My father was born in San Marcos, Texas in the mid 1920's. His name was Librado, since deceased, industrial accident in Odessa, Texas. My brothers and sisters reside in Eagle Pass, Del Rio, and Corpus Christi, scattered, I call them. I should talk. I moved to Wisconsin many years ago. Any info would be appreciated.
