Hi I'm looking for a John Saunders that I know very little about. He was my husbands great grandfather he had children with Susie Brigman but didn't marry Susie until right around the birth of their last child (possibly because she was Mulatto) although I'm not even a hundred percent sure they married at all because Susie's headstone says susie brigman. But I have my husbands grandfathers obit and it says his parents are John and Emily(family says his aunt gave the wrong name? and is supposed to be susie) Anyway their children were Walter David Brigman, William Brigman, Jesse Lee Brigman, James Allen Brigman died an infant Julius Alex Brigman and John Wesley Saunders any info that would shed some light on the circumstance or family would be appriciated.
Note: They used to have Brigman, Saunders, Hatcher reunion in Cheraw
