Could someone explain to me the signification of the elephants on the Saunders family crest?
While walking my dogs a nice elderly gentleman stopped me because he had heard I might be able to find out a few things about his SAUNDERS coat of arms. The next day I took my digital camera and was able to take a photo of his family crest hoping it might help. Mr. Saunders has a replica hanging on a post in his yard with a flag.
He doesn't have a computer, he's retired and most his time is talking care of his wife who has advanced Alzheimer. He said while serving during WW II he found out his SAUNDERS came from ENG to America early in the turn of the 1900 century.
He lives the next block over from me and ask me to please find out and come visit him for tea.
