James Sanders married Kerron (Keeron, Keren) Medlock on 29 January 1793 in Halifax County, Virginia. The bondsman was William Yancy.
Keren Medlock was a widow. She had been Keren(happuch) Sanford and had first married Henry Medlock in January of 1790. By this marriage, Keren Medlock had one child, Susannah Medlock, who married Richard B. Shackelford in Pittsylvania County, Virginia, on 27 December 1814.
William Yancy, the bondsman for her second marriage, was her brother-in-law; he had married her sister Nancy Sanford on 23 December 1791.
The family of Keren Sanford Medlock Sanders is well known. But who was the James Sanders who was her second husband? What became of this couple?
