He died 6th or 10th Feb 1853 in Walker County, Texas. States in Nancy’s War of 1812 app for bounty land dated 22nd Sept 1857. Note the 3 in 1853 looks like a two. Nancy Carson b. 22 May 1806 in South Carolina d. after 7 July 1882. Note: A letter to the Commissioner of Pensions in Washington DC dated July 7th, 1882 by the Post Master stating she lived eight miles east of this place. Widow’s Brief application filed Aug 25, 1880. Jesse and Nancy lived in Gwinnett County, Georgia from 1823 to 1836. Children JAMES CARSON RHODES b. abt1825 in Gwinnett County Georgia. Note: James’ son R.P.P. Rhodes was living with my Great Grandfather, Robert Archibald Rhodes, in 1880 in Madison County, Texas. CHARLES THOMAS RHODES b. 21 Mar 1827 in Gwinnett County, Georgia. HARMON M. RHODES b. abt 1830 IN Gwinnett County, Georgia. JOSEPH W. RHODES b. abt 1833 Gwinnett County/Warren County, Georgia. Jesse mitht have stopped in Warren County for a short period king enogh to or sell land to another Jesse Rhodes, have a letter waiting in the Post Office and have a baby. She didn’t claim living in Warren County in her Pension Application. They were living in Coweta County between 1836 and 1844. ANDREW B. RHODES, b. abt 1849 in Russell County, Alabama. In 1838 Jesse was a Tax Collector 1n 1838 for Coweta County, Georgia. Nancy’s father, James Carson, Jr., died before 1835 in Coweta County, Georgia.
