Thia ia a long shot, but my Saunderses like to repeat given names, Susannah witnessed a will inMason Co., KY in 1802.
". . . I, . . . give
and bequeath to my beloved son, John Burns,
my riding saddle, secondly I give and bequeath to my beloved
wife, Sebina Burns, all the rest of my Estate and I make and
constitute her my sole Executor, but in case she should marry
and the Estate appear to be waste then the Estate shall be taken
out of her hands unless sufficient security be given.
Tarem Burns (Seal)
Signed in the presence of
Charles Watt
George Saunders
Susannah Saunders
Solomon Stewart"
I noticed no date on this entry, however, the entry in Clift's book prior to and following the one mentioning George and Susannah Saunders is 1802.
