Looking for information about Kaspar or Casper Sauter and his family.
b.~1826 Germany (Prussia or Wuerttemberg - LOL)
d.~1908
Came to USA perhaps before 1850, settled in Buffalo NY USA by 1880. Listed there as brewer in 1880 US census and in 1900 Buffalo NY city directory.
Married Caroline Wolfe or Catherine Kloepfer? (The stories vary.) Had 8 children. His daughter Mary Margaret Sauter was my great-granmother.
