The LeSauvage/Savage family are decendants of Thomas LeSauvag, a Norman Knight who came with William The Conqueror to England in 1066.He settledin Derbyshire England. His decendant Ensign Thomas Savage, who was the first permanent white settler on Virginia's Eastern Shore in Accomack County.Thomas married Hannah Tyng and ther son Captain John Savage married twice.his first wife was Ann Elkington and they had three daughters Grace, Susannah and one other. Grace Save married Dr. George Corbin of Northampton Coounty Virginia on the Eastern Shore.I have all of this information as I have been researching my family bloodline for over thirty five years.I have been able to tracemy family's history to Adam and Eve.my family bloodlines include William the Conqueror, King Alfred the Great,Caenmore , Flanders, Plantagenent, Capet, Corbin, Boggs, Hill, Drake and numerous other families lines.
